Eight colourways, or roll your own
Every card ships in eight hand-tuned palettes plus a fully custom mode. Tap one — the whole site (and the card up top) re-inks itself, exactly like the app does.
Eight archetypes · one is yours
MacWrapped reads your month's shape — when you work, how hard you switch, what dominates your time — and stamps your card with a personality.
Your Mac glows after dark — a big slice of your time lands after 10pm.
Heads-down in dev tools. You build things, and it shows.
Most of your time is in creative apps — design, video, audio, the craft.
Mail, chat and calls dominate your day. You keep everyone connected.
Long, focused stretches in a handful of apps. Few switches, deep work.
Always juggling — lots of apps, constant context-switching, high tempo.
On your Mac nearly every day this month, racking up serious hours.
A balanced mix across everything. No single thing defines your month.
What's on your card
MacWrapped sits quietly in your menu bar, reads the usage history your Mac already keeps, and turns it into numbers worth bragging about.
Your real screen time over the last month — total hours, days active, busiest day and average pace.
Which apps actually own your month, with each one's share of your time — from your editor to your browser.
A full breakdown window ranks every app and groups your month into categories — dev, creative, communication and more.
An intensity score places your month against typical Mac usage — estimated entirely on your machine.
An hour-by-hour ribbon of when your Mac is alive — early bird mornings or night-owl marathons.
One click renders a crisp 1080×1350 card to your clipboard, ready for X, iMessage or the group chat.

FAQ
Yes. MacWrapped is free to download and use. It ships as a notarized DMG for macOS 13 and later, as a universal app for both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
No. Every stat is computed on your Mac and stays there. The only network request the app makes is an optional check for app updates. No analytics, no telemetry, no accounts.
macOS keeps your app-usage history in a local database that is only readable with Full Disk Access. MacWrapped reads it on your machine to build your stats — the data never leaves your Mac.
No. MacWrapped doesn't monitor your typing or clicks at all — it only reads the app-usage history macOS itself already records, and only on your machine. Nothing you type is ever seen, counted or stored by the app.
MacWrapped runs on macOS 13 Ventura or later, on both Apple Silicon (M-series) and Intel Macs. It is a single universal binary.
macOS retains roughly four weeks of app-usage history, so your card covers about the last 28 days — a rolling month of screen time, top apps and typing.
No. Reading your usage history requires Full Disk Access, which App Store sandboxing forbids. MacWrapped is distributed directly as a Developer ID-signed, Apple-notarized DMG instead, with built-in updates.
An intensity score is derived from your hours, cadence and app mix, then placed on a statistical model of typical Mac usage — entirely on-device. It is an estimate for fun, not a global leaderboard.
